"Not quite sure if this counts but I’ve experienced so many micro aggressions as a black woman in largely white Panhellenic spaces. Freshman year I was tasked with working on a project with 3 girls, all blonde, all white, one ΑΧΟ and the other two ΑΦ. They listened to absolutely nothing I had to say and quite literally pretended that I didn’t exist. I gave my input for one particular assignment and they wrote me off because I “couldn’t possibly know what I was talking about”. They couldn’t fathom that a black girl could be in honors and actually have the answers to a simple biology assignment."
